When will paid subscriptions be available?
No date confirmed yet. The pricing is set but the sign-up process is still being built. This page will be updated when it's ready. In the meantime, you can create a free account and use the API now.
What do I get with a free account?
Full access to the database. Search any aircraft, registration, or callsign, plus an API key so you can query the data from your own applications. You get 10 API requests per day.
How does overhead tracking work?
Once you've saved a location in your account, any aircraft that passes within 5 miles is automatically logged. You don't need to do anything, it runs in the background and builds up your history over time.
Can I change my tracking location later?
Yes, you can update it from your account settings at any time. The new location takes effect straight away.
What happens if I reach my 10 API requests for the day?
The API will stop accepting requests until midnight UTC, when your allowance resets. Everything else on the site carries on as normal.
Is there a minimum contract for the subscription?
No. Once subscriptions open, you can cancel at any time and you'll keep access until the end of the month you've paid for.
