Data is sourced from public API streams. While the database contains records for thousands of aircraft, operators, and routes worldwide, activity figures such as recent sightings, callsign history, times seen, and active flights only reflect aircraft that have passed within range of your set location and been picked up by the tracking scripts running against those feeds. An aircraft appearing in the database with zero sightings simply hasn't passed within your tracked area yet, or the feeder network hasn't indexed it.
